BIM

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the foundation of digital transformation in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. BIM is a huge development in the field of construction and its purpose is to ensure the creation of completely flawless patterns and structures through an effective information management system. Because building information modeling has a correct database, the employer can use this correct information during the operation phase. In fact, it helps a lot to have projects certified. This is a problem while blueprints are being prepared for existing projects, but these blueprints have not been used before and have not been able to provide correct information to the employer so far. Building information modeling with the help of timely project management and planning will have an effective role in reducing costs, increasing quality and basic scheduling of projects. Among the advantages of using BIM in construction projects, the following can be mentioned:

  • Preparation of digital 3D model containing structure, architecture and facilities information
  • Adapting the maps of different systems in the building in different phases of the building
  • Preparation of BEP executive plan and BIM implementation
  • Optimizing the passageways of different parts of the facility
  • Checking and controlling the situation
  • Preparation of 3D digital model of interior and exterior design
  • Quantity take off & estimation meter
  • Presentation of executive shop drawings
  • Project control in terms of schedule (integration of the schedule in the 3D model)
  • WBS breakdown structure and resource leveling
